1969 Ford Mustang Fastback R-Code

 

 

This is a very beautiful 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback!

The R-CODE Mustang Fastback is a highly prized specimen that has undergone a complete restoration that has been very well documented. Under the hood is a numbers-matching 428ci V8 with a Shaker hood!

Power is transferred to the road via a Ford Cruise-O-Matic C6 automatic transmission and a 9'' Ford open rear end with a 3.00:1 ratio. Other features on this Mustang include power steering, power brakes with front disc brakes, factory air conditioning, and 15'' Magnum 500 wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.

Inside, this Mustang is equipped with all the amenities that were available at the time! The interior is finished in white vinyl with front bucket seats, wood trim, black carpet, a folding rear seat, and a center console.

The dashboard features a full gauge cluster with tachometer, factory-style radio, three-spoke steering wheel, stock-looking HVAC controls, and a clock on the passenger side. Underneath this Mustang is a factory-look black painted chassis. This Mustang is a prime example of what American muscle cars were like in 1969.
