The legendary 5.0 V8 engine received dual fuel injection, consisting of a combination of low-pressure indirect and high-pressure direct injection. Whichever engine you choose, you'll enjoy driving with the smooth and responsive 6-speed manual transmission or the sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission. You can even control the sound of your Mustang with an active exhaust valve. For example, select Race Track mode and crank up the rumble and roar of the engine. Or choose Silent mode for a quieter environment.

MyMode allows you to save your own combination of settings. This includes the strength of the power steering, throttle response, shifting, sensitivity of the Electronic Stabilization System as well as the active exhaust flap.
Adaptive MagneRide™ chassis
This advanced shock absorber technology ensures both more confident car control and exceptional suspension comfort. The system continuously monitors the operating conditions and the driver's intentions. Accordingly, it adjusts the damper settings up to a thousand times per second. When the driving mode is changed, the basic calibration of the shock absorbers is automatically changed. The result is extraordinary stability, suspension comfort and sure control in all circumstances.
