There is always a left and right disc in this set, due to the direction of the grooves. These discs can withstand very harsh handling not only on the road but also on the circuit. The discs are floating - ie the center of the disc is aluminum and is connected to the cast iron disc itself by means of a floating connection - thus it allows different expansion of the aluminum center and the cast iron disc.
